How it works and plans
Four steps, one plan, and the rules written down.
The four steps
-
Step 1
Submit a request
- You provide
- What you are looking for, your areas of focus, and the shortcomings of your current website. Your business name, where you work, and any photos you want used help too.
- We do
- Read your request and get back to you.
-
Step 2
Review a free preview
- You provide
- Feedback on the preview: what to fix, add or cut. If you don’t like it, you can walk away.
- We do
- Design a free preview from what you told us. If you walk away, there is no charge.
-
Step 3
Launch
- You provide
- Your go-ahead, and access to your domain so we can point it at the new site.
- We do
- Launch the build on your domain, with a seamless transition from your old site.
-
Step 4
Maintain & update
- You provide
- Any changes you want made.
- We do
- Make any edits you need, maintain the site, and can pass it over to you at any time.
The plan
Draft: to confirm
Monthly plan
$100 flat, per month
- We keep your site current: send a change and we make it.
- Changes made within two business days. Draft: to confirm
- Month-to-month. You can leave whenever you want to.
- Your domain and content stay yours.
Setup fee: $500 FREE for our founding partners. We will build the first three sites for free.
What counts as a change
A change is a small edit to what is already on your site. Bigger work is quoted separately.
Part of the plan
- Text
- Hours
- Photos
- Menu
- Prices
- Links
- A new offer or event
Quoted separately
- New pages
- Redesigns
- New booking features
The exit
Month-to-month. If you leave, your domain and your content go with you.
There is no long contract. The details of how to cancel are written down here once they are final.
Questions owners ask
Will a website get me jobs?
Nobody can honestly promise that. What we build is the setup: clear service pages, your service area, a quote form and a number to tap. Jobs still come from your work and your name.
A friend or relative does mine already. Why switch?
Maybe you should not. If they keep it updated and answer quickly, that works. What we add is a stated turnaround time, a named owner of the work, and the rules written down.
A DIY builder is cheaper. Why pay?
With a DIY builder you do the work yourself. Here you send a change and we make it. The question is whether your time is worth more than the plan.
Am I locked in?
No. It is month-to-month, and your domain and content are yours.
Who are you?
Will Young runs Loonwick Web. It is new, with no client list yet, so we show you how it works instead.
What do I need to give you?
Your business name, what you do, where you work and any photos you want used. We ask for the rest as we go.
